Telling a Story...

Using the aging process to tell a story. It's kind of cliche but I'll think of a way to make it somewhat unique. 3 generations of hands will tell a story throughout the years.

Traveling is the overall theme but I added life in the city versus nature.  Both places I consider home, which is why the shoes are on the wire (in urban life, that's a sign of "street possession").  Instead of just recreating boring laces, I decided to stylize it and give the image a little more contemporary urban feel. The cycle: Born in Boone, growing up in Charlotte, to now being back in Boone.
